Gandhi's Gunn - (2012) Longer Beard, Harder Sound

Gandhi's Gunn (Genova, Italy), released their first album "Thirtyeahs" (Taxi Driver Records) in April 2010.
"Thirtyeahs" has a hard, strong sound impact that is intensely inspired by the forcible sound of the first American stoner rock undercurrent, such as Corrosion of Conformity, Fu Manchu and Clutch, while frequently exploring more visionary and psychedelic territories.

Issued first in 300 hand-numbered copies in vinyl package, now almost sold out, and then in CD and cassette formats, the album has been well reviewed within the Italian and international specialized press, in fanzines and web-zines.

The band's awaited second album "The Longer the Beard, the Harder the Sound" will be released in Europe on April 27th 2012 by Taxi Driver Records. The album comes after the great success of "Thirtyeahs" which has been widely acclaimed by pubic and critics, giving the band the opportunity to share the stage with Clutch, Atomic Bitchwax, Acid King, Los Natas, and it was born right on the road, catching its frontal impact and psychedelic diversions.

"The Longer the Beard, the Harder the Sound" was recorded in Genoa at the Greenfrog Studio by Mattia Cominotto, who also handled , mixing and mastering, as it was for the former "Thirtyeahs". It will be released by Taxi Driver Records and distributed in Italy by Masterpiece and in Europe by Clear Spot in vinyl (ultra limited colored edition 100 copies and limited black edition 400 copies), CD, Cassette and digital formats.
