Old school stoner fuzz of the highest caliber. Elevators to the Grateful Sky take the whole Kyuss, desert rock thing and throw a bunch of steroids on it, creating a brain on heavy rotisserie effect. Streaming four of the six tracks that comprise their debut EP, on my favorite site Bandcamp.
I hear the Kyuss
influences, as I mentioned before, but its also got a very Electric Wizard
doom-leaden heaviness to it, especially on the track "Electric
Mountain". I can tell these Italians have listened to alot of Celtic Frost
as well, the track "Ganesha" has a real obvious Tom Warrior vocal
vibe to it. All these different influences have created a good listen, and a
strong debut.
